Emperor Raja Laut
The Emperor Raja Laut liveaboard is a terminology Dutch Schooner style yacht built in 2005 with tropical hardwood. Raja Laut in Indonesian means 'King of the Sea'. Guest can expect to be treated like royalty on board. This beautiful schooner takes no more than 12 divers on board on their excursions, yet they have 7 crew and 3 dive guides on board to provide exquisite personal service to guests. The Emperor Raja Laut offers 7 to 12 night excursions in Raja Ampat, Banda Sea and Komodo.
Accommodation
Raja Laut’s interior spaces are built from selected tropical hardwoods, and accommodate 12 guests in 6 standard cabins, which are below deck. Each cabin has individually controlled air-conditioning, fan, ensuite bathroom, a table, a mirror, closet and mini safe. Three cabins come with a queen size bed and 3 cabins have bunk beds. Good news for taller people, the cabin ceiling's are pretty high 2.05 to 2.15 meters.
Features
Timeless styling, beautiful furnishing feature throughout the yacht to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. On the same level as the cabins is a lounge area, fully air-conditioned with a 49" HD flat screen, movie, music & book library, board games and mini-bar.

On the stunning teak upper deck are multiple beds for sunbathing or lounging, both in the sun and under shade, and a central dining table where meals are served alfresco under a large awning.
Dive operation and service
The diving is done from two large RIBs with outboard motors, to get you to the dive site swiftly. They have 2 dive guides, all diving safety equipment, Lifelines and SMB’s are provided on board, free of charge. Nitrox is available for Nitrox certified divers.

Emperor Raja Laut requires divers are Advanced Open Water certified or equivalent with at least 30 logged dives to join this trip. All diving is made from zodiacs (RIB's) to give precise entry and exit points. Currents can be strong. If you are Open Water or equivalent you will be required to take part in the Advanced Open Water course on board.
Dive Regions
With 18,000 islands, and being at the epicentre of the Coral Triangle, Indonesia is packed with the world's most bio-diverse marine areas. From Komodo National Park to the Banda Sea to the centre of it all, Raja Ampat here lies diving diversity like no other. Indonesia is blessed with the smallest to the largest of marine animals. Pygmy seahorses, wonderpuss, ghost pipe fish, rhinopias, hairy and normal frog fish, mantas, whale sharks, sharks and rays. The Emperor Raja Laut has scheduled trips in Komodo, Raja Ampat some trips include Ambon and the Banda Islands.

Staying Connected
Due to the remoteness of most trips, WiFi and mobile phone reception are not available on Emperor Raja Laut.
