Hairball Two, Lembeh Strasse

Not as rich as Hairball 1, but very popular as an alternative when Hairball is overcrowded, this is another sand slope, good for octopus, frogfish and the like. Scattered reef at 25-27 metres. An interesting feature is the mooring lines & concrete anchors from the pearl farm which play host to an abundance of life. Hairball 1, 2 and 3 are named so for two reasons. First, a diver lost their hair band mid-dive, causing their hair to flow freely, and second, the algae there is said to resemble a cat´s hairball.
